Using Your Own Music Files

  • How to Load Your Music

Use: DJs need the ability to customize playlists with their own unique sound. Tribe XR understands you want to use your own music files and here’s how you can.

  1. Create a Tribe music folder here: C:\Users\[username]\Music\TribeXR

  2. Copy your tracks into the folder.

  3. Launch Tribe and open your tracks.

Note: We currently support mp3, m4a, aac, wav files. If you have .aif files, for now you can rename them to .mp3 and they should load. We’ll be improving .aif support in an upcoming release.

Note: You might need to remove any special characters in your music file names for them to properly load & analyze into Tribe XR.
